These terms govern your use of studystyletest.com ("Study Style Test", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

Study Style Test offers a learning style test with a personal report and study guidance, and mock tests modelled on Indian competitive exams. Some features are free; others may need a one-time payment.

The learning style test is a tool for reflecting on how you study. Research has not shown that teaching people according to a "learning style" improves their results, so treat your result as a starting point for thinking about your study habits, not as a diagnosis or a fixed label. Our recommendations are general educational guidance, not professional, medical or psychological advice.

Our mock tests are practice material that we write ourselves. They follow the published pattern of each exam, but they are not official papers, we are not connected with or endorsed by the bodies that conduct those exams (such as the NTA, the IITs, the UPSC, the IIMs or the Consortium of NLUs), and a mock test score does not predict your result in the real exam.

Your account

  • Give accurate information, and keep your password and sign-in codes to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One account per person. Do not share your account, or anything you have paid for, with other people.
  • If you are under 18, you may use the site only with the consent of a parent or lawful guardian, who also accepts these terms on your behalf.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Payments

  • Prices are shown in Indian rupees on the site before you pay.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. A purchase unlocks, for your account, the item described where you pay: for example the full learning style report, or one mock test paper.
  • All purchases are final. We do not give refunds, as set out in our Refund Policy.
  • Coupon codes carry the discount and conditions shown when you apply them. They cannot be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn at any time.
  • We may change prices, or make paid features free for a period. This does not entitle earlier buyers to a refund.

Referral programme

  • When someone who signed up with your referral code makes a payment, you earn a reward credit worth the share of their payment shown in your account (currently 10%).
  • You can redeem credits once your balance reaches the minimum shown in your account (currently ₹1,000). We process redemptions by hand and contact you at your account email to complete the payout.
  • Credits have no cash value until they are paid out, and they cannot be transferred. Credits earned through self-referral, fake accounts or other abuse are cancelled, as are the credits of an account closed for breaking these terms.
  • We may change or end the programme. Credits you have already earned stay redeemable under the rules in force when you earned them.

Fair use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, republish or sell our questions, explanations, reports or other content, or use them to build or train another product;
  • share paid content with people who have not paid for it;
  • try to break, overload or get around the security, sign-in or payment checks of the site;
  • create accounts automatically, or pretend to be someone else;
  • use the site for anything unlawful.

Our content

The questions, explanations, reports, text, graphics and software on the site belong to Study Style Test or to those who license them to us, and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own personal study only.

Availability and accuracy

We work to keep the site available and its content correct, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors, including in questions and answer keys. If you find a mistake, please tell us. We may add, change or remove features, tests and questions at any time.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on your results or reports, including decisions about exams, courses or careers. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

Ending your use

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Terms that by their nature should continue after that (such as those on payments, our content and limitation of liability) continue.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes about them are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will also tell you on the site or by email. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
